Causes and solutions of imported industrial belt fracture

Reasons for the broken conveyor belt:

(1) The tension of the conveyor belt is uneven, or the tension of the conveyor belt is too large;

(2) The conveyor belt has been used for a long time, exceeding the service life of the conveyor belt;

(3) Conveyor belt tearing caused by material impact;

(4) The quality of the conveyor belt joints does not meet the standard and does not meet the requirements for use;

(5) The joint of the conveyor belt is damaged and the teeth are warped;

(6) Conveyor belt runs off, causing unilateral burrs.

Prevention of conveyor belt breakage:

(1) Adjust the tension in the device to avoid excessive tension or uneven tension on the conveyor belt;

(2) Record the use cycle of the conveyor belt in time, and replace the conveyor belt regularly for important sections;

(3) Control the possibility of large pieces of material falling, and reasonably design the gap between the material and the conveyor belt;

(4) Carry out quality inspection for conveyor belt connection to prevent conveyor belt quality problems;

(5) If there is a problem with the joint of the line of defense conveyor belt, deal with it immediately to prevent further deterioration;

(6) Pay attention to the deviation setting of the conveyor belt, and pay attention to the deviation adjustment during operation.

The solution to the broken conveyor belt:

(1) Clean up the falling materials and conveying equipment on the conveyor belt to ensure that the entire conveying equipment is clean and tidy;

(2) Loosen the tensioning device and cut off the damaged part of the conveyor belt;

(3) Calculate how much new material is needed to ensure that the length of the conveyor belt remains unchanged;

(4) Use connecting equipment for thermal connection, or steel buckle type mechanical joints;

(5) Adjust the tension device to ensure uniform force;

(6) Trial run, confirm that the conveyor belt load does not deviate, and put it into operation after normal operation.
